그저 또 하나의 주일?

[ Acts 2:41 - 2:47 ] - hymn401 They continued steadfastly in the apostles’doctrine. - Acts 2:42 Early on a sunny Sunday afternoon after church, I headed out for a walk around the neighborhood. A man was trimming his grass along the sidewalk, and we greeted each other with the usual “Hello, how are you?” In a negative tone, he replied, “It’s just another Sunday.” Later, I wondered what he had meant by that. Was he saying, I’m just doing my chores—going through the motions? Sometimes even church attendance can become a matter of merely going through the motions on just another Sunday. For the believers in the early church (Acts 2:41-47), joining with fellow believers was a source of excitement. That was when the church first started and everyone was a new believer—so they were bound to be enthusiastic. But what about us? What can we do to make each Sunday special? Go with the anticipation of meeting with God. While He is with us all the time (Heb. 13:5), God is with us in a unique way as we gather with others who know Him (Matt. 18:20; James 4:8). Bring your burdens and praises to Him. Go to learn about God. We may not learn something new every week, but we can always be encouraged by the truths of God’s Word (Ps. 119:105). Expect to hear from Him. Go to fellowship with others. We need each other in this Christian journey. Encourage others, challenge them in their faith, and pray for them (Heb. 10:24-25).     Lord, give us a renewed enthusiasm of heart for attending church, so that it won’t be just another Sunday. If you want to be spiritually fed, go to church with a hunger for the Word. Acts 2:41-47 [41] Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. [42] And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. [43] Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. [44] Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, [45] and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. [46] So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, [47] praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.

2010년 09월 12일 (주일) 그저 또 하나의 주일? [ 사도행전 2:41 - 2:47 ] - 찬송가 401장 저희가 사도들의 가르침을 받아...전혀 힘쓰니라 －사도행전 2:42 어느 청명한 주일 오후 예배를 마치고 나는 동네로 산책을 나섰습니다. 어떤 남자가 길가의 잔디를 다듬고 있었습니다. 우리는 서로 “안녕하세요?”하며 일상적인 인사를 주고받았습니다. 그런데 그가 좀 부정적인 목소리로 “또 일요일이 되었네요.”라고 대답했습니다. 나중에 그가 무슨 뜻으로 그렇게 말을 했을까 궁금했습니다. 그가 자기의 허드렛일들을 마지못해 하고 있다는 것을 말한 것일까요? 가끔은 교회출석마저도 또 주일이니까 마지못해 교회에 가는 정도의 일이 되어버릴 수 있습니다. 초대교회 시절의 성도들에게는(행 2:41-47) 믿음의 동지들을 만나는 것은 기쁨의 원천이었습니다. 그때는 교회가 처음 세워지고 모두가 다 새로 믿는 사람들이었기 때문에 그들이 열성적이지 않을 수 없었습니다. 그런데 지금의 우리는 어떻게 합니까? 매 주일이 특별한 날이 되게 하기 위해 우리가 할 수 있는 일이 무엇이 있을까요? 하나님을 만난다는 기대감으로 가십시오. 하나님은 우리와 언제나 함께 하시지만(히 13:5), 우리가 하나님을 아는 다른 사람들과 같이 모일 때에는 특별한 방법으로 우리와 함께 하십니다(마 18:20; 약 4:8). 하나님께 당신의 걱정거리와 찬양제목을 함께 가져가십시오. 하나님에 대해 배우러 가십시오. 우리가 매주 새로운 것을 배우지 는 않더라도 하나님 말씀의 진리로 항상 용기를 얻을 수 있습니다(시 119:105). 하나님의 음성 듣기를 기대하십시오. 다른 사람들과 교제하러 가십시오. 그리스도인으로 살아가는 삶의 여정에서 우리는 서로에게 필요한 존재입니다. 다른 사람들을 격려 하고, 그들의 믿음에 도전을 주고, 그들을 위해 기도하십시오(히 10:24-25).     주님, 교회에 출석하는 일에 마음으로부터 우러나는 새로운 열정을 주셔서 그저 또 하나의 주일이 되지 않게 해주십시오. 만일 영적으로 배부르려면 하나님 말씀에 굶주려서 교회에 가라. 사도행전 2:41-47 [41] 그 말을 받은 사람들은 세례를 받으매 이 날에 신도의 수가 삼천이나 더하더라 [42] 그들이 사도의 가르침을 받아 서로 교제하고 떡을 떼며 오로지 기도하기를 힘쓰니라 [43] 사람마다 두려워하는데 사도들로 말미암아 기사와 표적이 많이 나타나니 [44] 믿는 사람이 다 함께 있어 모든 물건을 서로 통용하고 [45] 또 재산과 소유를 팔아 각 사람의 필요를 따라 나눠 주며 [46] 날마다 마음을 같이하여 성전에 모이기를 힘쓰고 집에서 떡을 떼며 기쁨과 순전한 마음으로 음식을 먹고 [47] 하나님을 찬미하며 또 온 백성에게 칭송을 받으니 주께서 구원 받는 사람을 날마다 더하게 하시니라
