하나님은 시간을 내 주십니다

06 May Thu, 2010 God Has Time For You [ Psalms 34:4 - 34:18 ] - hymn453 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. -Psalm 34:6 Historian Cassius Dio recorded a revealing event from the life of Hadrian, the Roman Emperor from ad 117–138: “Once, when a woman made a request of [Hadrian] as he passed by on a journey, he at first said to her, ‘I haven’t time,’ but afterwards, when she cried out, ‘Cease, then, being emperor,’ he turned about and granted her a hearing.” How often we say or hear, “Not now, I’m busy” or “I’m sorry, but I just don’t have time.” Yet, our heavenly Father, the Master and Creator of everything, always has time for us. The psalmist wrote: “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry.... The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles”(Ps.34:15-17). God is not like the emperor or a busy executive who tries to avoid interruption. Instead, the Father’s joy is to listen and respond to His children. “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit” (v.18). Hadrian’s afterthought was, “I must take time for my subjects.” God’s first thought is, “I always have time for those who come to Me.” Whenever we need to talk, the Lord is ready to listen. — David C. 2010년 05월 06일 (목) 하나님은 시간을 내 주십니다 [ 시편 34:4 - 34:18 ] - 찬송가 453장 이 곤고한 자가 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고 그 모든 환난에서 구원하셨도다 - 시편 34:6 역사학자 카시우스 디오는 주후 117년부터 138년까지 로마 황제로 군림했던 하드리안의 삶 가운데서 한 뜻 깊은 사건을 기록했습니다. “한번은 여행 중이던 하드리안 황제가 지나가자 한 여인이 알현을 요청했습니다. 처음에는 ‘시간이 없다’라고 거절했으나, 그 여인이 ‘그렇다면, 황제 직을 그만 두세요.’라고 외치자, 돌아서서 여인의 이야기를 들어주었습니다.” 우리는 “지금은 바빠서 안 되겠어.”라거나 “미안하지만 시간이 없어.”라는 말을 얼마나 자주 하고 또 자주 듣는지요. 그러나 만물의 주인이시며 만물의 창조주이신 하나님 아버지께서는 언제나 우리를 위해 시간을 내어주십니다. 시편기자가 기록했습니다. “여호와의 눈은 의인을 향하시고 그 귀는 저희 부르짖음에 기울이시는도다...의인이 외치매 여호와께서 들으시고 저희의 모든 환난에서 건지셨도다”(시 34:15-17). 하나님은 방해받기 싫어하는 황제나 바쁜 경영자들과는 다릅니다. 오히려 자녀들의 이야기를 듣고 이에 응답하는 것이 하나님의 기쁨입니다. “여호와는 마음이 상한 자에게 가까이 하시고 중심에 통회하는 자를 구원하시는도다”(18절). 하드리안은 뒤늦게야 “백성들을 위해 시간을 내야겠다.”라고 생각했습니다. 이에 반해 하나님께서는 처음부터 “나에게 오는 자를 위하여 언제나 시간을 내 줄 수 있다.”라고 하십니다. 우리가 대화하고 싶을 때는 언제나, 하나님은 들을 준비가 되어 있으십니다.     예수님이 나를 돌보아 주시니 생각만 해도 내 마음 기쁘오 어떤 삶이 전개되든 상관없이 주님은 나를 따뜻하게 사랑해주시네 하나님은 아무리 바쁘셔도 자녀들의 호소에 귀를 기울이신다. 시편 34:4-18 [4] 내가 여호와께 간구하매 내게 응답하시고 내 모든 두려움에서 나를 건지셨도다 [5] 그들이 주를 앙망하고 광채를 내었으니 그들의 얼굴은 부끄럽지 아니하리로다 [6] 이 곤고한 자가 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고 그의 모든 환난에서 구원하셨도다 [7] 여호와의 천사가 주를 경외하는 자를 둘러 진 치고 그들을 건지시는도다 [8] 너희는 여호와의 선하심을 맛보아 알지어다 그에게 피하는 자는 복이 있도다 [9] 너희 성도들아 여호와를 경외하라 그를 경외하는 자에게는 부족함이 없도다 [10] 젊은 사자는 궁핍하여 주릴지라도 여호와를 찾는 자는 모든 좋은 것에 부족함이 없으리로다 [11] 너희 자녀들아 와서 내 말을 들으라 내가 여호와를 경외하는 법을 너희에게 가르치리로다 [12] 생명을 사모하고 연수를 사랑하여 복 받기를 원하는 사람이 누구뇨 [13] 네 혀를 악에서 금하며 네 입술을 거짓말에서 금할지어다 [14] 악을 버리고 선을 행하며 화평을 찾아 따를지어다 [15] 여호와의 눈은 의인을 향하시고 그의 귀는 그들의 부르짖음에 기울이시는도다 [16] 여호와의 얼굴은 악을 행하는 자를 향하사 그들의 자취를 땅에서 끊으려 하시는도다 [17] 의인이 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고 그들의 모든 환난에서 건지셨도다 [18] 여호와는 마음이 상한 자를 가까이 하시고 충심으로 통회하는 자를 구원하시는도다
